What is a VPS?

A VPS is a Virtual Private Server. The difference with regular shared hosting, is that you have dedicated resources appointed to your server. For instance, the website that you put on it, does not have to share CPU and RAM.

Our platform only support Unmanaged VPS'es at this point. This means, that we only support the hardware of the VPS and not the software that you install yourself.

Just like any other product that we offer, you as a reseller are responsible for the first support from your customers. If there are any questions that you cannot answer, you can always ask us.

Instant VPS is powered by KVM (Kernel-based Virtual Machine), which enables us to guarantee dedicated resources for each VPS package. Which means that you have a stable and fast server available to you at all times. Reliability is also a great factor to take in account with a VPS. Therefore our VPS'es are equipped with high-speed local SSDs, Intel 64bit hexacore (6 cores) 2.8 Ghz processors, hot spare disks and servers, a redundant gigabit network and multi-layer firewall security, including DDoS protection.

To easily manage your VPS, we provide a VPS manager and you can also use the API to create/manage VPS'es.

When you order or create a VPS, you will get to choose from a lot of standard images to install. For example, Ubuntu 16.04 Server. These images are basic installations, but you can install your own software on top of these. You cannot install your own ISO's.

For ease of use, you can also install Turnkey installations. This will setup an entire WordPress installation for example.
