Hostcontrol has strict definitions of what a Customer and Reseller are allowed to do (as set roles within a complex system). This allows for actions on in several control panels.

A quick reference would be that a customer is defined as the end-user of a reseller.

A reseller is defined as a **customer** with the ability to resell products of his reseller. This makes all the options available to him which you would normally expect from a customer, as well as the ability to manage his own customers and products.
